Whoever thought that kids' ski outerwear should be less technical or less waterproof and breathable than adult gear obviously hasn't spent time with a kid in the mountains. Kids are in the snow constantly. They get hot, then they get cold. They break everything. The Explorer Jacket is our tribute to the junior groms who deserve high-quality, extra-durable, waterproof-breathable outerwear. No detail was overlooked -- it's got pockets that actually fit stuff, a hood that goes over a helmet, a thin layer of insulation, and enough longevity to last through countless hand-me-downs. (For the record: testing kids' gear requires a lot of gummy bears and whipped cream. But we got the job done thanks to a stellar crew of hyper-stoked, jump-hitting mini-shredders.)
