The Marker M 4.5 is a high quality junior binding that's perfect for the smallest of skiers up through anyone who has a DIN setting under 4.5. Marker recommends a 29 to 125 lbs weight range, which is reasonably accurate, but shouldn't be taken as a black and white rule. Aggressive skiers near the high end of that weight range may have a DIN setting higher than 4.5, so check the needs of your child to be sure. Marker's junior bindings follow the same pattern as their adult bindings: high quality, high performing bindings that last. While the M 4.5 doesn't need to hold up to expert adult skiers, it's still built using great attention to detail and highly functioning designs. The 4 linkage toe piece offers a great connection to the snow and super safe retention and release consistency. Skis will stay on when they're supposed to, but will release in the event of a fall where injury is more likely to occur.
