The grilling planks are easy to use with 3 basic steps. First soak the plank in water for 45-60 minutes. Then brush a light coating of olive oil (or vegetable oil) on top of the plank and bring it to cooking temperature by heating it up on the grill at low heat for 5 minutes. Place your seasoned food on top of the plank and continue grilling at a low temperature until done. Cook with the lid closed to infuse your food with a delicate smoke from the Smokehouse Cedar Grilling Plank.
