HIC Kitchen's Extra-Long Potato Masher quickly transforms cooked potatoes into creamy mashed potatoes with little effort and less lumps. This versatile cooking tool has a longer design to reach food at the bottom of deeper pots for easy mashing without getting out the mixing bowls. It's ideal for mashing potatoes, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, squash, yams, carrots, turnip, parsnips, and more. Its single-piece heavyweight wire tackles heftier tasks, like mashing cheddar cheese into potatoes, squeezing excess water from grated raw potatoes for crispier potato chips or hash browns, or from cooked spinach and other greens as quiche, ravioli filling, lasagna, enchiladas, and crepe recipe add ins. Easily process ingredients for lefse (Norwegian flatbread), spaetzle (German noodles), and gnocchi (classic Italian pasta). It's easy to use. Peel potatoes and cut into 1" pieces. Cook in a pot of boiling water until fork tender. Use a colander to drain them well and return them to the pot. Press Masher downward on the potatoes using a firm pressure, ending with a twist, until desired texture is achieved. Made with a single-piece heavyweight chrome-plated steel and easy-grip rubber wood handle, HIC Kitchen's Extra-Long Potato Masher is sturdy and durable, nicely balanced for comfortable use, and easy to clean. Hand wash in warm, soapy water. Brought to you by HIC, a third-generation family owned and operated company in the USA since 1957.
